Davis-Bacon payroll and WH-347 reporting
Federal certified payroll can add another reporting task to a California project. We help prepare WH-347 reports from the project information, wage rates and classifications you supply.

Weekly federal certified payroll
Caltrans’s Labor Compliance Manual calls for weekly certified payroll reports to Labor Compliance. Review the contract’s federal reporting format and recipient, then determine whether a California eCPR submission also applies. Keep the applicable reporting tasks in the project checklist.
Federal work on the Central Coast
Vandenberg SFB, Camp Roberts and Fort Hunter Liggett are examples of installations where federal construction work brings Davis-Bacon payroll reporting into the project. Check the reporting instructions for the particular contract before preparing its payroll package.
Prepare records by worker, classification and job
Gather the reporting period, project details, worker hours, classifications, wages, deductions and fringe benefit records. If an employee splits work between jobs or classifications, keep the supporting time records clear enough to follow that split.
Compare the report with the payroll actually processed. Keep a copy of the completed report and its submission record with the project file.
Connect WH-347 and eCPR work
We help organize the underlying payroll information for both reporting tasks. Share the contract reporting instructions and any prior submissions when discussing the scope with our team.
