High school and elementary facilities measures

School facilities work crosses district boundaries, so a contractor should keep the district and campus on every job record. Separate materials ordered for different sites and preserve the approval trail for scope changes. A bond total describes district financing; project revenue comes from the work your business is contracted to perform.

  • Salinas Union High School District: Measure W (2020) passed. Bond amount: $140 million.
  • Salinas City Elementary School District: Measure H (2022) passed. Bond amount: $75,000,000.

Measure G street work and housing completion

Street maintenance, recreation facilities and completed housing have different funding records and reporting periods. A business serving these projects should distinguish its contract scope from the citywide program. Reconcile progress invoices and customer balances by job so a large public-work ledger does not obscure smaller overdue receivables.

  • Measure G-funded program: street preventative maintenance, sidewalk repair, Boronda Rd traffic congestion relief, Williams Rd streetscape & safety, Recreation Center at Municipal Pool, Hebbron Family Center. Amount recorded: Measure G projected $36.1 million in FY 2025-26. Source status (2025): ongoing. Agency: City of Salinas.
  • Salinas Project Homekey created 204 housing units.
