A resilience center grant is being sought

The community center entry is a grant application, while the school bond is an approved measure. Keep the two stages separate in a prospective-work forecast. A contractor's books should recognize actual agreements and spending, with proposal costs distinguishable from labor and materials for a job that has been awarded.

  • Farmersville Community Resilience Center (grant application). Amount recorded: roughly $10 million grant sought. Source status (2026): applying. Agency: City of Farmersville.
  • Farmersville Unified School District: Measure Z (2022) passed. Bond amount: $8.6 million.

Jennings Park and pedestrian bid records

A closed bid notice does not by itself establish the winner or a construction start. Retain the award and signed scope before creating an active-job forecast. Once work begins, attach approved time, supplier invoices and changes to the same project number so billing and payroll can be reviewed together.

  • Jennings Park Improvement Project. Source status (2026): Bid closed 9/22/2026. Agency: City of Farmersville.
  • Pedestrian Improvement Project. Source status (2026): Bid closed 1/9/2026. Agency: City of Farmersville.

Application and bid-stage questions

Is Farmersville’s resilience center grant already awarded?

The source describes a grant being sought. Keep the application distinct from an award and avoid treating the requested amount as committed construction revenue.

Does a closed Jennings Park bid prove that my business has work?

A bid closing alone does not establish the successful bidder or authorized scope. Retain the award and signed contract before building an active-job budget.
